Housekeeping Tips For Frugal Living
What the heck is Frugal living?
Frugal living sounded so cheap to me. But when looked up online I found the real meaning of it. Frugal living is spending mindfully, spending on things that matter to you, prioritizing the need, and not going with buying whatever you want. Growing up I often got the message from my parents and relatives that money is time. Spending money in the right places is one thing but spending at the right time and at the right amount is entirely a different thing.
Frugal does not have to be a sacrifice
Being stingy is not what frugal living is. Saying "No" to things and abstaining from spending is not what frugal living is. Cutting down on junk foods for example is healthy and at the same time spending less on unhealthy food. But using that money on healthy food is wise.
Have people were Frugal in the past?
Yes, both rich and the not so rich have spent their life frugal. When I looked up the internet, I came to know that the Amish women had some cool housekeeping for frugal living. Billionaires like Warren Buffet had some cool frugal living tips!
